— Core Benefits
Six reasons organisations return to Tepi
These are the points we hear most often from clients when they describe why they chose to engage us, and why they return.
Documentation as the deliverable
Our work produces written documents — companion pieces to each workflow — that remain useful long after our engagement closes. Most AI consultants do not provide this.
Observation before any recommendation
We watch how your team actually works before suggesting anything. Many AI projects are proposed without this step, which leads to solutions that fit the theory but not the practice.
Builds alongside your staff
Your people are present throughout the build phase. When the engagement ends, they understand what was built and why. There is no knowledge gap when we leave.
Honest about what AI cannot do
Every workflow companion document includes a clear section on limitations — the conditions under which the AI should not be trusted. This protects your team from over-reliance.
Transparent, fixed pricing in SGD
Each engagement type has a published price. We do not bill by the hour and do not expand scope mid-engagement. From SGD 195 for a Marginal Note to SGD 775 for an Annotated Programme.
Sized to where your organisation is now
Three engagement types let you begin at whatever scale is appropriate. You are not pushed into a large programme when a half-day observation is what you actually need.
— In Detail
What each benefit means in practice
Expertise
Professional experience with AI in organisational settings
Our team has worked with organisations across Singapore's financial services, legal, logistics, and public sectors. We understand that AI performs differently in each context and that assumptions drawn from one sector rarely transfer cleanly to another.
- Three years of AI integration engagements in Singapore
- Backgrounds spanning process consulting, NLP, and technical writing
- Sector-appropriate framing, not generic AI advice
Technology
Current tools, applied with appropriate caution
We work with current large language model infrastructure and have assessed a range of AI tooling for the specific demands of professional services environments in Singapore. We select tools based on reliability for the specific task, data residency considerations, and practical maintainability by non-technical staff.
- Tool selection driven by the workflow, not commercial preference
- Data residency and MAS guidelines factored into all recommendations
- Workflows built for maintainability without specialist technical staff
Service
Responsive, written communication throughout
We respond to all enquiries within one working day. During engagements, communication is principally in writing — which means decisions are recorded, and there is no ambiguity about what was agreed. Fortnightly written notes during Annotated Programmes ensure all parties share a clear view of progress.
Value
Fixed prices, no surprise costs
From SGD 195 for a Marginal Note to SGD 775 for an Annotated Programme — all prices are fixed and published. We do not bill by the hour, do not charge for reasonable communications during an engagement, and do not expand scope without explicit agreement.
Results
Outcomes measured by what stays after we leave
We consider an engagement successful when your team can describe, explain, maintain, and — if needed — discontinue what was built, without our involvement. The written documentation we produce is part of that measure, not a bonus deliverable.

— What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive features of a Tepi engagement
The marginal annotation method
Our documentation format draws on scholarly annotation practice — each significant decision in a workflow is noted alongside the workflow itself, like a margin note in a well-read book. This makes the document navigable for readers with different levels of technical familiarity.
A four-week trial period built into every Annotated Build
We do not close the build phase and walk away. Every Annotated Build includes a four-week supervised trial with the staff who will actually use the workflow. Observations from this period are incorporated into the final handover document.
No obligation to proceed at any stage
After a Marginal Note, you receive our written assessment and there is no pressure to engage further. After an Annotated Build, you are not steered toward an Annotated Programme. We note what we think might be useful and leave the decision with you.
Closing report with measured year-ahead recommendations
Annotated Programmes close with a written report describing the body of work completed and offering measured recommendations for the year ahead — not a sales document for further work, but a considered professional assessment.
